Rev. Rodger Allen
Co-Pastor
Rev. Rodger Allen has a Master of Divinity degree (M.Div.) from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary in Pittsburgh, Pa. He sings in the Sanctuary Choir, teaches a weekly “Exploring Your Faith” class, and serves on the local Presbytery. He is also involved in the Paris Ministerial Fellowship and serves as a chaplain at the Horizon Health Hospital in Paris. Rev. Rodger has been in the ministry for over 30 years.
Mrs. Susan Farris
Music Director & Treasurer
Susan has been in these positions since 1975 and is a member of the congregation. She graduated from Milliken University, Decatur, IL, and is a very accomplished organist/pianist, and wonderful choir director for our both the children and adult choirs. She is married with two children. Her daughter, Karol, is attending Louisville Presbyterian Seminary. Her husband and son farm their land. Susan is invaluable with all she does and her steadfast commitment to this congregation.

A spunky redhead and former history teacher, Jeanette moved from Los Angeles to Paris in 1999 with her husband Kevin, the pastor of Nevins Christian Church. They still don’t like the cold winters, but love the warm Edgar County people. Jeanette authors the weekly humor/inspirational column, God is Greater, in the Prairie Press newspaper. She has published three books, hundreds of articles, stories, poems, and greeting card verses, and teaches at writers’ conferences nationwide. Jeanette is the mother of two grown children, three grandchildren, and servant to four cats. Her favorite sports are eating in restaurants, gardening, and discovering new ways to avoid housework.
