SANCTUARY CHOIR NEWS
Thank you sincerely to the choir members who have kept our service music sounding each week. Our motto is still: “Keep on keepin’ on!” We appreciate each of our members: Mabel Benson, Barbara Bergdolt, Jane Blair, Liz Gough, Robert Howrey, and Ann Hodge Sisneros.
The choir will sing on July 5 and August 9. On the other summer Sundays, music will be provided by your resident pianist/organist/music director and other soloists/groups as well. Even though “school’s out,” we hope to see you in our sanctuary each and every Sunday.
We are mourning the loss of a very special choir member: Juanita Kimball. Although she hasn’t been able to sing with us for several months, Juanita was a loyal and faithful choir member for more than sixty years! We will miss her light soprano, her quiet strength, her willingness to help, and her care and concern for others. We take comfort in the fact that “it is well with her soul.” –Susan

THE CHRISTIAN CALENDAR
Following Trinity Sunday, we entered a period of “Ordinary Time” with no special church holidays or seasons until we reach World Communion Sunday on October 4.

NEWS FROM SESSION
Items of business at the June meeting of Session included:
- Discussion regarding participating in the County Fair hosting and cleaning tables. Voted not to participate as a church, but one can volunteer as an individual to help.
- The pastor nominating committee finalized the “Responsibilities of the Pastor” document, which was voted on and approved.
- The Property Committee reported that Dirt Poor Landscaping will be doing our trimming and landscaping.
- It was voted on and approved to add a new session member, subject to the congregation’s approval.
- The next Session meeting was scheduled for August 11 at 5 p.m.

The memorial service for Juanita Kimball will take place Thursday, July 2,
at 11 a.m., at Templeton Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
