Advent Choral Concert:
The Community Advent Choral Service will be held here at our church on Sunday, December 5 at 3 P.M. Our next rehearsal is tomorrow, Monday, Nov. 22 at 7 P.M.
Paris Ministerial Fellowship held its monthly meeting on November 4 and decided, due to COVID-19 and a couple other considerations, NOT to hold a Community Thanksgiving Service this year.
The deadline for submitting articles or information for the December issue of the church newsletter, the “Profile,” is Monday, November 29.
FOR YOU DURING ADVENT
The season of Advent, when we prepare ourselves for the coming of Jesus, runs from November 28 to December 24 this year. We have a variety of Advent daily devotional booklets displayed on the table in the hallway, and invite you to take your pick! We also have daily open-a-window Advent calendars for the children. Or here is another option: Pittsburgh Theological Seminary is offering a daily online devotional. You can find it at: www.pts.edu.
Decorating for Christmas: We will be decorating our church for Advent and Christmas on Saturday morning, December 4, beginning at 9 A.M. Please come and help out if you can.
