A new prayer group for all interested believers, Pray Paris, is starting Monday from 4 to 4:30 P.M. in the Koinonia Kafe. Please join us to pray for our city, county, state, and federal governments. Please call the church office, 217-465-5118, for more information.
Our “Church Family of the Week” is Phil, Karen, Brittany, and Emma Scott. Please think of them and include them in your prayers – and look for some way to let them know you are glad they are part of our church family! Cards would reach them at 1712 S Ten Broeck, Paris.
Compassionate Clothing Closet: Thank you to all those who signed up to volunteer for a day (or more) during “our month” of October.
Another way to help the Clothing Closet: They are collecting new or gently-used blankets, to help people through the winter. You can take them to CCC Mondays 10-1 and Tuesdays 12-2, or bring them here. More information is on the bulletin board.
Presbyterian Disaster Assistance has set up an account to help those affected by Hurricane Ian. You may make out a check to this church, making clear that it is for hurricane assistance. Or you may send it directly to PDA: Write “DR000194” on the memo line, and mail it to: Presbyterian Church (USA), PO Box 643700, Pittsburgh, PA 15264-3700.
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 30:
Our worship service will include an observance of All Saints Day,
when we remember and give thanks for our fellow Christians
who have passed away.
